Dye Garden

The hand-painted botanical illustrations on this wall hanging are inspired by the dye plants weld, hibiscus and cosmos sulfureux, chosen intuitively for their beautiful shapes. The layered shades of golden warmth and deep floral tones reflect the changing colours in our garden. My favourite part of finishing a piece is adding embroidery, bringing texture and subtle detail.
