Safflower i

This pillow cover is inspired by the beauty of a botanical dye garden, where plants offer both colour and form. This hand-painted illustration of safflower is a tribute for it’s natural dyeing properties and beautiful silhouette. I embroidered the flowers, adding depth and texture to the botanical illustration. Dyed with indigo.
